Newcomer Youth Tutoring

Free one-on-one tutoring for newcomer youth between 13-18 years old (grades 8-12). Volunteer tutors help students complete homework assignments and assist with essay writing. Subject-specific tutoring (e.g. math, science) is also offered.
Wednesdays from September 13 – December 10, and again from January 10 – March 7

A Day in the Life of Oakville 2017

Whether it is for high school students looking to fill their 40 hours, seniors looking to make connections in the community, or anyone else looking to volunteer their time to local organizations, volunteering is a great way to participate in your community, help local organizations, and gain a rewarding experience while gaining useful and marketable skills.
Drop into our Glen Abbey Branch and receive one-on-one personalized help finding the right volunteer experience for you, with a representative of Volunteer Halton.
