Artwork from students across Oakville will be featured in an online art sale in support of raising funds to expand the Chinese language book collection at OPL.
All proceeds from the sale will be used by OPL to acquire a wider selection of books written in Chinese. These resources will help children, teens and adults preserve their first language while they improve their English language skills.
The sale will begin on October 1, 2021 and run until October 8, 2021. SparkCircle decided to advance this year’s activities in an effort to allow senior students to add their experiences with the sale to post secondary applications.
Over the past 4 years, through their Art Sales, SparkCircle has raised over $7,000 and purchased children’s books for OPL’s Chinese Collection.
In a year where our community experienced significant social and economic impacts, SparkCircle hopes to strengthen and connect the community through art and literature.
SparkCircle and OPL look forward to the support of the Oakville community.
