Donate in Celebration or Memoriam
In Celebration
Donations are happily accepted to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, retirements, or other milestones. To recognize these occasions, or to give thanks to someone special, select “In honour of” option under the “Dedication Information” section of our Donation Page.
In Memoriam
Donations are accepted in memory of loved ones. Contributions in their name will allow the library to expand its services and to shape, impact, and enrich the Oakville community. To donate in memoriam, choose the “In memory of” option under the “Dedication Information” section of our Donation Page.

Legacy Donation
Legacy Gifting
Gifting to Oakville Public Library in your will creates a lasting impact on the community and supports the library’s future for generations to come.
Legacy gifts can include a specific sum, an asset, or a percentage of your estate. Planned donations including bequests, life insurance policies, real estate, and securities.
We encourage consultation with your financial advisor or lawyer when integrating a donation into your estate plan. To leave a gift to the library, you will need to provide the following information in your will or estate plan:
