COVID-19 Library Service Updates for December 19
Effective December 19, 2021, as a precautionary measure all in-person programming will move to virtual sessions (where possible), and capacity limits at all OPL branches will be in effect at 50%.
These service changes align with the new provincial measures announced on December 17, to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 variant Omicron. Customers registered for in-person programs will be contacted directly.
In addition to these changes, all room rental bookings at OPL facilities will be paused temporarily.
At this time OPL has NOT received a request to be a COVID-19 rapid test distribution centre or pop-up location. Updates and changes to this status will be shared via our website.
