Youth Library Leaders (Teenage Volunteers)

Oakville residents aged 14-18 and currently enrolled in secondary school seeking to complete community service hours can apply to become a Youth Library Leader at OPL.

This annual program runs from September to May and is designed for teens who want to make a difference in their community. Participants attend informative monthly meetings featuring various OPL staff, help plan and deliver a volunteer-led event during Youth Week, and develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, digital literacy, and leadership.

Registration takes place once a year in August. Visit this page for more information.
