May is Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness month, a time where we reflect, learn and engage with others on all topics relating to mental health.
Your library is a safe space for all, and we invite you to explore the free resources and activities available to you as you learn more about recognizing signs of mental health within yourself and/or others, and well-being practices to incorporate into your life.
Mental Health Awareness BINGO Challenge
In honour of Mental Health Awareness month, OPL is excited to launch the Mental Health Awareness BINGO challenge!
This challenge is geared towards teens and adults, where participants can pick up a BINGO card at any OPL branch and complete a vertical line, a horizontal line, the outside box or even a full card to earn prizes!
For those that complete a vertical (up and down), horizontal (side to side) or diagonal line (corner to corner), you will win a decorative bookmark. Participants that complete tasks on all four corners of the BINGO card, you will win a squishy stress ball. If participants finish the entire card, you will be entered into a draw to win a wellness gift basket!
