Book Sale
Mark your calendars! Friends of Oakville Public Library are excited to announce the spring Book Sale this February 26-28 at Central Branch. The sale will feature a huge selection of gently loved books and more. New books will be added daily so be sure to visit on multiple days.

Freedom to Read Week
Oakville Public Library is celebrating Freedom to Read Week, an annual event that encourages Canadians to reflect on and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom.
Public libraries play a crucial role in protecting books and other materials from censorship. By ensuring access to a diverse range of knowledge, ideas, and opinions, libraries help uphold democracy. This is more important than ever in today’s information-driven world.

Family Day Holiday
Glen Abbey Branch and Iroquois Ridge Branch will be open on Family Day (Monday, February 16) from 10am - 2pm.
All other branches will be closed on Family Day.
