The TD Summer Reading Club is your Passport to Reading!

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest summer reading program for children and teens of all interests and all abilities. This free program celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories and is designed to inspire a lifelong love of reading. This summer you choose what and how much you want to read!

The club runs from June 13 to August 23, 2025.

How does it work?

  1. Visit the library: Drop by any Oakville Public Library branch to register. You’ll get your very own Summer Reading Club Passport.
  2. Set your reading goal: How many books will you read each week? Pick a goal that works for you (one book, two books, or more!).
  3. Read toward your goal: Open a book and enjoy the adventure. Read a little each day or all at once.
  4. Track to collect prizes: Bring your passport to the library each week to track your progress by collecting a sticker, then collect your prizes according to the schedule.
  5. Join the fun: Take part in awesome crafts, games, and activities at the library all summer. Visit our Programs and Events page to see what’s happening.

Drop in to a kick-off party!

Celebrate the start of the 2025 Summer Reading Club with a day of travel-themed fun for the whole family.
