Perfect for children, our Storytelling Kits include items like themed books, puppets, CDs and props to encourage play and help develop early literacy skills. To borrow a Storytelling Kit, place a hold online for pickup at your nearest branch.

Enviro-packs

Designed for children ages 7-12, our Enviro-packs include books, activities and other educational tools related to topics such as bio-diversity, climate change, and recycling. To borrow an Enviro-pack, place a hold online for pickup at your nearest branch.

Sports Kits

Get some fresh air and enjoy OPL Sports Kits. Kits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, no holds will be available. Loan periods are 7 days and are not renewable. There are various types of Sports Kits and availability varies by branch, view more information on our OPL Sports Kit page, or browse though currently available kits in our catalogue.

Connection Kits

OPL is now offering two types of connection kits. These kits are to help Oakville residents who are 55+ and do not have access to the internet or technology stay connected with friends and family. In addition, those with print disabilities can use the kits to access alternate formats of reading material. To learn more, please contact your local branch.
