Expanding Access, Enhancing Service: Digital Resources Update
Starting January 1, 2025, we’re making exciting changes to OPL’s digital collections to better meet your needs.
As part of our annual review of online resources, we’ve evaluated customer feedback, usage data, and budget priorities to ensure our offerings meet the needs of the community and improve access to the content you love.
Here’s what’s changing:
- Hoopla enhancmenents: In response to growing demand, we’re adding thousands of new eBooks to hoopla!
Although some eAudiobook offerings will be reduced, hoopla still provides a fantastic selection, and the most popular eAudiobook titles will continue to be available through cloudLibrary. These changes will improve access, ensuring more customers can enjoy hoopla throughout the month.
-
Improved digital magazine access: We’re streamlining our magazine collection by focusing on PressReader and reducing duplication across platforms. Titles previously available on Flipster will now be accessible through PressReader, offering the same great content in a more unified experience.
With PressReader, you can enjoy over 7,000 full issues of magazines and newspapers from more than 120 countries in 60 languages!
