Notice: Sixteen Mile Branch Closure
OPL will temporarily close the Sixteen Mile Branch on June 4, 2022, to accommodate the start of the parks construction for the North Park Development.
Update: September 2022 - Sixteen Mile Branch has reopened, at a new location, 3250 Neyagawa Blvd, Oakville.
To ensure minimal disruption to service, a pop-up library will open, alongside expanded OPL Express services, at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.
The current Sixteen Mile Branch, will close for approximately three months and is scheduled to reopen in mid-September at a new temporary location at the North Operations Depot facility (3250 Neyagawa Blvd, Oakville). The reopened branch will resume full library services and remain in effect until the opening of the new library branch facility in late 2024, as part of the North Park Development.
