Pride Halton 2025
OPL is excited to once again participate in the Halton Pride Parade, celebrating inclusion and community on Sunday, July 20, 2:00pm in Milton. The parade features a vibrant and energetic atmosphere filled with floats, costumes, and individuals representing various organizations, community groups, and local businesses. Oakville Public Library is excited to be part of a number of community events in July. Come say hi to staff members and ambassadors at select dates for SuperPlayground, Oakville Farmers Market, Latino Festival, Bronte Lake Notes and more.
Save the date! Friends of OPL will be hosting a Pop-Up Book Sale at the Oakville Farmers Market on July 26. Prices start at $2 for 2 books. All proceeds support library programs, services and spaces. Stay tuned for more details.
White Oaks Branch Notice
White Oaks Branch remains open during the closure of McCraney Street East from July 2 – September 1, 2025. McCraney Street East will be closed from Sixth Line to east of Montclair Drive. Local access will be maintained for customers of White Oaks Branch. Infrequent/unforeseen delays may occur.
